About Cheeky Seats

Cheeky Seats® is a small boutique tailoring company, located in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, about 30 miles northwest of Philadelphia.

We are Suzy and Rafa working out of our cabin studio in Spring Mount, Pennsylvania. Every Cheeky Seats® cover is handmade by the two of us. No outsourcing. No factories. Just skilled hands, sharp eyes, and a great deal of pride.

Rafa is a third-generation tailor from Puebla, Mexico. He learned to sew blue jeans in his family’s shop as a kid – and swore he’d never sew again.

Now? He’s a master. Rafa tailors seat covers by hand like a true craftsman: with precision, feel, and inherited knowledge.

Me? I ended up studying sculpture, eventually living and working in Rome, Italy -  where I fell hard for scooters. I didn’t know it then, but I’d spend my life crafting garments for scoots and miniMOTOS.

And we had a bulldog named GQ, who ran the studio like a velvet hammer.
He’s still here – in spirit, and in every burp that breaks the tension.
