About Cheeky Seats

Cheeky Seats® is a small boutique tailoring company, located in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, about 30 miles northwest of Philadelphia.

We’re Suzy and Rafa – partners in life and craft – working out of our cabin studio in Spring Mount, Pennsylvania. Every Cheeky Seats® cover is handmade by the two of us. No outsourcing. No factories. Just skilled hands, sharp eyes, and a great deal of pride.

Rafa is a third-generation tailor from Puebla, Mexico. He learned to sew blue jeans in his family’s shop as a kid – and swore he’d never sew again.

Now? He’s a master. Rafa tailors seat covers by hand like a true craftsman: with precision, feel, and inherited knowledge.

Me? I was a summer-camp macramé kid who ended up studying sculpture, eventually landing in Rome where I fell hard for scooters. I didn’t know it then, but I’d spend my life reshaping their surfaces.

He worked with denim.
I worked with popsicle sticks.
And somehow, we met in the middle... on a scooter seat.

We’re the ones who answer your emails.
We’re the ones who stitch your order.
We’re the ones who care how it fits.

And we had a bulldog named GQ, who ran the studio like a velvet hammer.
He’s still here – in spirit, and in every burp that breaks the tension.
