We do NOT make or sell actual seats.  We make seat covers - they go over the seat you already have. 

Cheeky Seats covers are perfect to hide worn, faded, ripped and eroded seats - with no tools needed to install.

We tailor every single seat cover ON an actual seat - identical to the one you have - that's how we ensure such a great fit.

Our seat covers are a great way to change and customize your lock - or to protect your original seat from UV and other damaging elements.

The overwhelming majority of the seats we see just need a refresh.  They are faded from being out in the sun.  They might be ripped, split or otherwise worn out - or the rider wants to change the color, style and look of their seat. 

In all of these cases, a seat cover is a great solution - it saves money, and keeps your original seat in action and out of a landfill.

If your seat is really damaged, or missing large chunks of foam - simply send us a pic and we will be the first to tell you if our seat cover is right for your scooter.

Cheeky Seats is a small boutique tailoring company specializing in handmade seat covers for scooterists and motorbike riders.

We are Suzy and Rafa, the true definition of a Mom and Pop shop - living, working and sewing in our cabin studio in Spring Mount, Pennsylvania with our bulldog GQ.

We personally make every item you see on our website.  Nothing is factory made or outsourced. Made in Pennsylvania, USA.

MEET THE MAKERS

Rafa is a 3rd Generation Tailor.  Born in Puebla, Mexico, he learned to sew in the family business, making blue jeans.  His experience and knowledge of sewing techniques and construction is nothing short of incredible.  He is a true Master of the craft.

Growing up in the garment business, young Rafa had many annoying sewing related chores.  The story goes that when Rafa came of age, he dramatically proclaimed that he would "Never Sew Again!"

Rafa rides a 2003 Stella 2T, but can sometimes be caught riding around town on a Honda Metropolitan.

Rafa is also an accomplished dancer and makes killer authentic Mexican food.  He likes to take selfies.

Howdy.  I'm Suzy and unlike Rafa, I grew up going to summer camp and learning how to make things with popsicle sticks and macrame.  I started sewing to make my own bohemian clothes in "Home Economics" class, which was exceedingly uncool at the time.

I later went on to get a BFA in Sculpture from Temple University's Tyler School of Art.  As part of that curriculum, I spent a year living in Rome, Italy, where I fell in love with scooters.  I was mesmerized by the riders; impeccably clad men and women coming and going with such ease and grace.  They made life look so...effortless.  I would sit in the cafe and watch them glide by, and daydream of living that lifestyle.  Little did I know that one day my whole world would revolve around scooters!

I am the designer, storyteller and geek of the operation.  I ride a Buddy 125.

 

 

 

Most listings with options have a selector for you to indicate your choice.  If you don't see the option to customize, please email us with the cover you are interested in, and the change you want to make, and we will instruct you how to place the order.

Ordering

  1. KNOW YOUR SEAT - Do NOT guess what seat cover will fit you scooter - if you are not sure, please email a photo so we can confirm.  Seats can LOOK similar but have different shapes, do not assume seats are the same.
  2. CHECK YOUR SHIPPING ADDRESS -  Please make sure you are shipping to the correct address, paypal and Apple Pay are notorious for storing old addresses.  
  3. INCLUDE A VALID EMAIL ADDRESS - That means one you can check regularly.  We often have questions or wish to verify choices - and not being able to get through with a quick question creates delays.  
      • If you have a yahoo, msn, or hotmail address - we often have issues with those mails not getting through - be on the lookout for our confirmation emails and if you don't get one within 12 hours, please email us directly.
  4. INCLUDE A PHONE NUMBER - We would only text or call if we could not reach you by email.
  5. CHECK YOUR CHOICES - Please review on the cart page that any choices or customizations are showing correctly. 

This is critical.  Only a seat cover made for your specific seat will fit your scooter.   Please DO NOT GUESS - if you are not sure, please send a photo and we can confirm. 

Seats can LOOK similar but have different shapes - please do not assume they are the same. 

If you don't see your scooter in our categories, email us a message, we often bring in new seats and add them to the line.

 

 

The first step is to check our website for a category on your model - or use our search bar.  If we do have covers for your seat, but you don't see what you are looking for, in terms of color or style, just email us and let us know what you want.

Assuming we make covers for your model, we can make any kind of cover you like - including a style shown on a different model.  We would be happy to make something just for you!

We accept all major credit cards VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover.  We accept Paypal, Venmo, Apple Pay, Google Pay and a payment plan through ShopPay.  Please note that the available payment methods may change depending on your region. 

You will receive an email from our website followed by a personal email from us confirming your choices.  We will let you know when we will ship your order, and when you can expect to receive it.

We may have questions or might wish to verify your instructions.  It is VERY important that you include a valid email address (one that you will check) as this is the only way we have to communicate with you.  

Please keep on the lookout for our confirmation email.  We often have issues with blocked email from hotmail, msn, and yahoo.  If you do not receive an personalized email from us within 12 hours - something is wrong!  Please check your spam folder and contact us directly.

We email every customer on every order to verify the model, choice and options of the seat cover order.  That is the time to let us know if you need to make a change.  The best way is just to contact us immediately via email during business hours.

Once the order is put into production it cannot be changed.     

Shipping

We offer a FREE shipping option for all orders in the USA via the US Mail service.  This includes AK, HI, PR, GU, APO/FPO

For mainland USA, we offer a UPS upgrade for $8.00 which you can select in checkout.  If you require the seat cover on a certain date, please check before placing the order.

Worldwide ships via Priority Mail for $35.00 to $41 depending on the country.

We are currently using UPS for shipments to Australia as Priority Mail times are quite long.  Cost for this service is $55.00

Our seat covers are Made to Order - and generally ship within 4 days.  Check our website for our current production time.  

We offer some "ready to ship" covers, those will ship the next business day.

We will email you after the order is placed to confirm the projected ship date.   Once we finish your seat cover we will email you with the tracking number along with the projected delivery date.

Please allow several days for shipping times - you will receive tracking information when the label is placed.

International shipping timeframes can vary greatly - but generally 10 to 14 days.

It's really important that you check the shipping address on your order to make sure it is 100% correct.

We cannot be responsible for items that are lost as a result of being provided an incorrect address.  If the item is in transit - you can contact the courier and put a hold on it - or make an address change - that is not something we can do, since we are not the recipient.

We will not replace or refund orders that are lost if provided with an incorrect address.

If the item is returned to us, we will reship it to the correct adddress, however you will have to cover those fees.

Please try to stay calm if this happens.  The package may have been left at the desk or manager if you are in an apartment.  It may have been left with a neighbor by accident.  It may have been brought in by a housemate.  The carrier may have hidden it behind a bush or in the screen door - or somewhere else they thought was secure.

The best thing to do is after exhausting those options to call your local post office or UPS, as they can often put you in contact with the carrier that delivered your package.  Most of our items are delivered in a 10 x 14 inch padded envelope - not a large box.

Carrier tracking should provide you with up to date information about your package.  It's a good idea to be aware that you have a package coming and be on the lookout. 

Cheeky Seats is not liable for stolen packages, or if we were provided an incorrect shipping address by you, which results in the loss of the package.

If your package gets stuck in transit or never gets delivered,  please contact our support and we will initiate a tracer and work to locate your package.

If an item is returned to use because we were provided with an incorrect address, shipping to the correct address will need to be paid for by the customer.

We ask all international customers to provide a photo of their scooter so we can verify your seat.

We cannot acommodate special requests like "leave by the gate" or "no signature required."  The postal carrier determines if the package can be left at the door.

When a package is shipped from the US, it may be subject to VAT, customs or duties when arriving in the destination country.  We do not control these feels, or know how much they will be.  The customer is responsible for paying these duties and fees.  Some countries hold packages at customs, each country is different.

Please track your package!  The carrier will post updates that can be very important for the timely delivery of your package.

Installation

Installing a Cheeky Seats cover is very simple. No staples or tools required! You don't have to remove the seat from the scooter, and you do not need to remove the old cover. (You may staple the new cover on if you prefer) Our seat covers are made to order and hand tailored to fit perfectly.

If your original seat cover is torn or in shreds, you may wish to remove it. Many times taping over a rip and then putting the new cover on works just fine.

You can certainly remove the old cover - but quite often it is not necessary. Check out our INSTALLATION VIDEOS to see just how simple it is to put on one of our seat covers!

Returns

We make all of our seat covers by hand, and your chances of receiving a damaged or defective item is very rare.

If it does happen, please take pictures of the product which clearly shows the issue and email us.

All claims of damage must be reported within 48 hours of receipt of the package.

You can return any new, unused and un-customized seat cover within 30 days of delivery of your item.

Cheeky Seats does accept returns.  Since we make all of our products to order, please read our return policy carefully.

To be eligible for return, your item must be unused with hang tags attached, in the same condition received.  It must also be in the original packaging.  

Seat Covers are Model Specific and made to order, therefore it is critical to correctly identify your seat when ordering.   We are happy to assist you with this during ordering - just email or text over a photo of your scooter and we will confirm your seat.

  • Please do not "guess" when ordering a seat cover.  Do not purchase a different model thinking it will fit yours.  It will not fit - just like a Samsung case will not fit an iPhone even though they both "look" similar.
  •  We reserve the right to charge a 25% restocking fee for any cover returned to us that was incorrectly ordered.  We confirm EVERY order via email, this is an issue that can easily be avoided with communication.  Please include a VALID email with your order.
  • Please do not order a seat cover just to "check it out" or "look at the color."  Please ask us instead to see examples - we can often provide photos on a similar color scooter.
  • If you don't know the year of your scooter - or what model it is - please ask before ordering.  A Vespa GTS 300 is completely different than an LX 150 or a Sprint 150 - these are very different bikes with different seats.

Seat Covers that have been "taken out for a few rides" are considered used and are not returnable.

Customized and personalized items are not returnable.

Each case differentiates upon the given circumstances.  We will do everything possible to correct the situation to your satisfaction.

Our return policy lasts 30 days.  If 30 days have gone by since you received your item, unfortunately we cannot offer you a refund or exchange.

Refunds

  • Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item, and a credit will be applied to your original method of payment.

Exchanges

  • We will replace any item that is defective or damaged.
